75% of the estimated people with
Hepatitis C are Military Veterans

The Veterans Administration statistics state 25,470,700 veterans are alive in the United States. the infection rate among veterans in the VA system is about 10% .  This means, based on reported numbers of infected people by the CDC, 3,900,000,  an estimated 11 3/4%  of the general population are veterans, or 458,250 veterans were included in the CDC results.
